Those moments when I am really hungry and wanting something yummy but also what to be healthy, has led me to write this post as it can sometimes be a little tricky to find snacks to eat that wont make you feel guilty after.
So here are a few healthy snacks that have become my go-to:
- Guacamole with carrot or celery sticks
I make my guacamole with a little bit of garlic salt, a few drops of lime juice and black pepper. My favorite with guacamole is carrot sticks however I also sometimes use celery sticks or some sort of healthy cracker or pita chip.
2. Greek yogurt with berries and granola
My days where I take a break from vegan I tend to always want greek yogurt, which I wont complain about because it is a healthy option. I will grab a bowl, put in desired amount of yogurt, I normally use the strawberry greek yogurt, and top with either fresh or frozen mixed berries and a decent amount of granola. It is soo good! If you like something sweeter add a little honey on top. Don’t these look amazing!!?
3. Peanut butter and banana sandwich
This option I guess can be considered a “larger” snack is still one of my favorites and always does the trick. I don’t think I need to explain how I make mine…pretty straight forward 🙂
4. A smoothie
I love smoothies, they are easy and yummy! Mine are generally the same and consist of some sort of juice, either orange, cranberry or coconut water and I use frozen fruit, whatever I desire at the time, a banana always, spinach and sometimes honey. They are soo yummy!!
