Fitness Journey: Reevaluation

Hey everyone,

If you follow along with my Fitness Journey post there was one I uploaded three series posts ago where I talked about my new goal for the month of August was to be strictly healthy and active with no cheats.

I have come back on here to say that goal was unrealistic and clearly did not work. This fitness series is where I share my journey, so honesty about not accomplishing a goal or staying on track, it is only right to share on here as for others who may be facing something similar with their own fitness goals should understand we are all only human and it happens. Also I want my blog to be about memories and reflections so I can look back myself.

So instead of letting myself fall completely off track and demotivated for the rest of the month, I decided to make some adjustments and I have started fresh today!

My updated goal is now to be strictly healthy and active from Monday to Saturdays, and Sundays allow for cheats. This is much more realistic and custom to my needs as using Sunday as a motivator to be super healthy throughout the week has worked before with me back at University.

Since I am on here now I will share a workout I did this morning even though I have more posts coming soon about my workouts.

Morning workout:

100 high knees

3 sets of 15 lunges each leg

3 sets of 15 squats

3 sets of 10 push ups

My ab routine (I shared this in a past post)

I have work today and today is actually a day where after work my friend and I do a larger workout, so I will be working out twice today and that’s why I kept my morning workout a little more simple.

I will have What I eat in a day posts coming soon and I will share a few meal plans I have been informed from a friend of mine who is a personal trainer so stay tuned! 🙂
