Today I realized how many pictures I have of yogurt bowls on my phone that I generally make for breakfast and I realized actually how many yogurt bowls I eat. A lot!
I think it would be a good idea to share with you different versions of the yogurt bowls I make, essentially the different toppings, being as I seem to have so many different ones quite frequently. If any of you like having yogurt bowls as well maybe this post will inspire you to try a few new toppings.
First off I always use the same yogurt…plain, non-fat Greek yogurt. Plain because flavored is just added sugar and non-fat for obvious reasons. Greek yogurt is one of the healthiest versions and is packed with protein which is exactly what my diet needs.
I made this one with my homemade granola which includes coconut, almonds, oats and cranberries and blueberries, strawberries and a peach.
When I made this one I had a sweet tooth and decided to put strawberries, blueberries and blueberry jam on top.
I mixed this one…sorry. I used blueberries and strawberries and put a little honey drizzled on top. This is my traditional one.
Lastly for this one I used strawberries, blueberries, a peach and drizzled honey.
They all taste amazing and makes for a nutritious breakfast or snack! My summers have literally been consisting of these, smoothies, smoothie bowls and fruit salads.
