The End of 2016

Firstly, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and was relaxing, a time spent with family and friends and a time where lots of yummy food was consumed. I know thats exactly how mine was spent and it was great. πŸ™‚Β 15727317_561056710767961_3390967976493524343_n.jpg

I also wanted to come on here and essentially end blogmas. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in it this year and I am almost positive I will be doing it again next Christmas. I really hope you all enjoyed it and that it assisted in making this Christmas more festive and exciting for you. πŸ™‚

2016 is almost over, and I am really looking forward to 2017. I have good feelings about this coming year and I am so excited to make it a year of me. I hope you have your plans and goals in mind for 2017 and I wish you all the best and an exciting New Year!

I thought it would be nice to share a little bit into my Christmas. I love all of my gifts, my family and I held a family event at our house which was a lot of laughs and a great memory all together and of course the Christmas lunch/dinner was delicious as always and I probably ate a little too much, but thats allowed at Christmas! πŸ™‚

Christmas Eve night we went for a drive and our tradition is to look at all the Christmas lights. So pretty! Some people do put in a LOT of effort.

and hot chocolate of course. This year I decided to do homemade on the stove and it turned out to be delicious!

Our tradition on Christmas morning is cinnamon buns for breakfast πŸ™‚

My pets had a really great time as well haha. Tamber was spoiled and had an overstuffed stocking of toys and treats which after receiving wouldn’t even let us touch any of them…

And Oki slept….15698324_561056630767969_4227122872096992035_n.jpg

I decorated the table this year and I was quite proud of it. We had glitter in the centre shaped as trees, snowflakes and stars and it was really cute and festive.

Our dinner was the family traditional mashed potato, stuffing, turkey, ham, vegetables, cheese casserole and for desert a choice of pumpkin pie or cheesecake. All so gooooood!

Overall it was another amazing Christmas.

I have a new goal starting in the new year to at least post once a week. I found with school and other things, I put my blog on the back burner but I love blogging, I love hearing back from any of my readers, so I don’t want to do that this coming year. I will try my absolute best to stay on track with this new goal πŸ™‚

I have a few exciting ideas that will be coming soon and areΒ all the things that are contributing to 2017 being the year of me, so the content will be a little bit of fitness, vegan lifestyle, school tips, adventures, taking care of oneself and general advice. I hope you are excited for more content too!

Talk to you soon!! Have a great new year if I don’t post before then. πŸ™‚
