Things I Wish I Knew as a Teenager

I realize I am only 21 years old and not too long ago since I was a teenager however I feel confident enough to say I learned many life tips that would had been helpful to know in my teenage years. I feel like these tips would have saved a lot of unnecessary stress, helped to have made things a lot simpler and avoid wasted energy. But we all know how it goes, life is a learning process and through different experiences we begin to understand and gain life lessons. However I think if people share their life lessons with others more often, which is what I plan to do in this post, then maybe others can be more equipped to avoid unnecessary and stressful situations and save their energy for more beneficial things. Hopefully you agree and will take from some of the lessons I learned and will share with you in no particular order.

First life lesson

Do not stress about finding a job.

Second life lesson

Always be yourself and whoever doesn’t like you is not meant to be in your life. Do not try to fit in for others or people please.

Third life lesson

Dont overcomplicate things in life or be so hard on yourself. Everyone is unique in their own way and we are all meant to make mistakes.

Fourth life lesson

Save memories, do not delete photos or major parts of your life.

Fifth life lesson

Spend time with the people who mean the most, friends and family.

Sixth life lesson

Life is always about learning, you are never going to reach a point where you know everything so live in the moment.

Seventh life lesson

Do not feel like you have to go through anything alone, there is always going to be someone who wants to help. Parents, friends, teachers and role figures in your life are there for you.

Eight life lesson

Do not be afraid to ask questions. You are not meant to know everything, you are meant to learn along the way.

There is this crazy thing called life…
